Narrative Declaration was born from a few simple desires: to help some friends survive in this world while exploring tabletop RPG systems beyond the usual suspects. Our mission is to tell engaging stories, share hearty laughs, and give people a welcome escape from the stresses of everyday life.

It all began when ZoranTheWizard (when we was working at Paizo) met OnCallGM at GenCon in 2019, breaking the ice with the memorable line, “Hey, I heard you like Warhammer.” From that slightly awkward introduction, a lasting friendship took root.

Not long after, they launched their first TTRPG show, WarHams, which quickly gained popularity thanks to its lovable cast of misfits and their chaotic adventures through the grimdark universe of Warhammer 40,000’s Wrath & Glory system. The success of WarHams proved there was a hunger for actual-play shows that balanced rich storytelling with lots humor that wasn't in the world of Dungeons & Dragons.

Building on that momentum, the team went on to create Rotgrind, a grimdark yet darkly comedic campaign set in a custom Pathfinder 2E world.

With each new show, Narrative Declaration has continued to grow, experimenting with new systems, fresh characters, and stories that span the emotional spectrum from laugh out loud absurdity to heartfelt moments that stick with you long after the episode ends.

Today, Narrative Declaration is more than just a collection of TTRPG campaigns. It’s a vibrant community of fans and creators alike who come together to celebrate collaborative storytelling, unforgettable characters, and the shared joy of rolling dice to see what happens next.
